Cops are investigating after a thug kicked a man in the face and broke his jaw outside a Coatbridge pub. The victim was seriously injured in the unprovoked attack at around 11.15pm outside the bar on Main Street, near Locks Street, last Saturday, July 18.The 20-year-old was with a friend when one attacker ran from the opposite side of the street and punched his pal in the face.As he bent down to help his friend, a second man came across the road and kicked him in the face.The victim managed to make his own way to hospital where he was treated for serious facial injuries.His friend - a man also aged 20 - escaped serious injured.Detective David Williamson, Coatbridge CID, said: "As far as we are aware, this was a totally unprovoked attack in.
