Three people stabbed in central London as huge cordon put in place near train station

Three people have been taken to hospital after being stabbed near a train station in central London. Police said they were called to the scene near Liverpool Street station in the Bishopsgate area just after 9.45am this morning (Thursday).

Three people were reportedly stabbed, while another person was 'pushed to the floor', police said. The victims were taken to a nearby hospital by the London Ambulance Service.

A spokesperson for City of London Police said the ongoing incident is not being treated as terror-related. This is an ongoing situation, but is not being treated as terror-related.” Police officers and paramedics remain at the scene and a cordon is in place around the area.
