The black Audi collided with a white Jaguar SUV on Pilsworth Road near the junction with Egerton Street just after 6pm last night (Monday).
The smash sent the Audi through the wall of a front garden, ending up just inches from the front room of a terraced property.
Eyewitnesses said a young family live in the property and the mum was left shaken by the near-miss. Police have now confirmed that three people were injured in the smash.
