Three people charged with drug offences following operation in Lanarkshire town

Three people have appeared in court charged with drug offences following an operation involving Lanarkshire officers. During the operation in Airdrie, Police Scotland stated that officers netted cannabis with an estimated street value of approximately £300,000.

Writing on the Police Scotland Lanarkshire Facebook page, a force spokesperson said: “Around 9.30am on Wednesday, October 11, officers acting under warrant, entered a property in Stirling Road, Airdrie, and recovered a quantity of cannabis.
