Three organisations express interest in leasing Calderwood Hall

Three East Kilbride groups have expressed interest in taking over Calderwood Hall.The facility is one of the assets that South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are intending to withdraw from following their budget meeting in February.Following this, the council announced a community fightback fund and its intention to support local residents and community groups to take on the leases of these properties with a view to operate them on behalf of their local community and to save them from closure.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
