The former wildman said he was so wasted on cocaine and ecstasy while creating chart-topping terrace classics World In Motion and Vindaloo that they were originally packed with X-rated references to drug abuse and sex.
The songs are loved by England fans who without footie in lockdown are now enjoying reruns of the entire Euro 96 tournament on ITV.
But he claimed World In Motion almost nearly didn’t happen as he was so hammered when he was offered the job of writing its lyrics he whipped out his tackle and tried to urinate on the tune’s legendary music producer.
