Police say around 12.15am, emergency services were called to East Prescot Road, Knotty Ash, close to the Greyhound Pub, to reports of a collision involving a BMW colliding with the roundabout, the Echo reports.
A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "Three people, a man in his 20s, a woman in her 20s, and a man in his 30s, were all taken to hospital by ambulance and all have sadly passed away." The victims have not yet been identified.
