Three streets in Manchester city centre will be shut to traffic for two weeks due to emergency works. Shudehill, Withy Grove and High Street will be closed for a fortnight from Sunday (October 20).

The closure will allow engineers from Electricity North West to carry out emergency electricity works in the Shudehill area.

The works are expected to take about two weeks. Access to the Shudehill bus interchange will not be affected, although a bus stop in Corporation Street will be closed.
