Thousands of Sky broadband and TV customers will be hit with price rises of as much as £72 a year from August. Sky's latest increase applies to customers who didn't see bills rise at first when it increased prices for everyone else in April.
This group of customers will the cost of their Entertainment TV package increase by £2 a month while Sky's Essentials broadband customers will see prices rise by £2 a month as well.
People with multi-screen services will have £1 a month added to bills while those with HD TV packages will pay an £1 a month more too.
Those worst hit could see bills rise by £6 a month in total - working out at £72 a year - but Sky calculated the average rise will be half that.
