Thomas Markle Reveals the Last Time He Spoke to Meghan Markle & Prince Harry

Thomas Markle went to the press after the airing of Oprah with Meghan and Harry to discuss the last time he spoke with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. “The last time we spoke — actually, we didn’t speak, we actually texted each other — I was laying in a hospital bed after having a heart attack,” the 76-year-old said on Good Morning Britain. “I had to tell them that I couldn’t come to the wedding [in May 2018].

At that point, we had pretty much said goodbye.” This would put their last conversation in May of 2018, just before their wedding.

Then Thomas seemed to change his story a bit and indicate that it was a phone call. “Harry had said to me at that point, ‘If you had listened to me, this wouldn’t have happened to you.’ And me, laying in
