This RTÉ show receives more complaints than Normal People
evoke.iecriticism here in Ireland with RTÉ being inundated with complaints about the racy nature of the series.It even got its own segment on Joe Duffy!However, it looks like the Emmy nominated series has been pipped to the post by another RTE show for most complaint received but which show was it?According to The Sun, RTÉ Does Comic Relief received four formal grievances.Each of the complaints alleges a breach of the Broadcasting Act 2009 or some element of the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland codes.The charity event was aired on 26 June and saw a whooping 638,000 people tune in to watch the hilarious skits, all for a good cause.With the likes of Niall Horan and Saoirse Ronan joining the charity event, it raised €5.5 million for charity.Speaking.
