Over the years, I've tried a variety of mascaras – from volumising and lengthening to waterproof and even coloured – but one type that has never really won me over is tubing mascaras.
Despite many beauty editors and experts swearing by this type of mascara, they've never quite delivered the results I was hoping for – until now.Tubing mascaras, which have grown in popularity recently, are formulas composed of polymers that wrap around each lash hair.This typically makes them less prone to smudging or flaking; perfect if you often struggle with these issues with 'regular' mascaras.Tubing mascaras also require a different removal method at the end of the day; simply apply warm water, either with your hands or a flannel, and slide the 'tubes' off your lashes, reports the Mirror.
I'm not particularly fond of this removal method (I don't like the sensation of tugging at my eyelashes), and my main gripe about tubing mascaras is that they tend to give quite a natural look – not the bold, black, dramatic lash look I favour.
