Matty, who was a member of the Labour party in Merseyside and was recently elected as a councillor in the town of Maghull, was pictured wearing a red high-vis vest while sweeping up rubbish and leaves from the ground in the newly unearthed snap.
Matty’s death was announced at the weekend in a statement by This Morning, who described him as a 'delightful young man'. Matty owned 150 vacuums and first sat down with the show’s current presenter Holly Willoughby and former host Philip Schofield three years ago to talk about his hobby - explaining that he had turned it into a business and would take them apart and fix them before returning them to their owners.
On Monday’s episode, 11 September, Holly, 42, and co-host Dermot O'Leary paid tribute to the “much-loved member of This Morning family”.
