Caffeine is known to have a number of benefits for our health, but did you know that it can also have a positive effect when used in skincare, too?
Joining Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, This Morning beauty expert, Nadine Baggott, heaped praise on a ‘game changer’ skincare product which harnesses the power of caffeine to combat skin concerns.
Nadine explained that caffeine works as a vasoconstrictor, shrinking blood vessels in the upper layers of the skin. She explained how the water-soluble ingredient absorbs easily into the skin, working to reduce puffiness, redness, and even dark circles.
Posting a clip of the segment on social media after the show, she added: “If you understand that caffeine is a mild vasoconstrictor then these all make sense to boost blood and lymph flow and there is science behind these actions not just wishful thinking.” READ MORE:Dunelm's £28 thermal curtains with 'excellent blackout' help homeowners save on heating bills READM MORE:'I swear by my sunrise alarm clock for tackling winter blues and waking up more easily on dark mornings' One product she the 60-year-old highlighted was Dr.
