The presenter and Alison Hammond usually host the ITV daytime show on a Friday but have spent the whole week at the helm following the start of the summer holidays.
But viewers were left confused during the latest instalment of the programme, after Dermot made an apology for something that happened on the show the day before (Thursday).
In the previous show, Josie Gibson was seen out and about conducting one of her latest segments when the incident appeared to take place.
When referring to the competition segment on today's show, Dermot announced that offensive language was used during another episode of the show.
