Alison Hammond has revealed on-air that even when she feigned pregnancy, she could not get a seat on the train. She made the hilarious confession while chatting with co-host Dermot O'Leary and show regular Gyles Brandreth during Friday's episode of ITV's This Morning.
As Gyles recounted how people would graciously offer up their seats for him on public transport, Alison admitted that she could only dream of such a gesture.
Playfully holding her tummy as if she were sporting a baby bump, she joked: "I can't wait for it to happen to me.They never offer me a seat, I'll be standing there for ages.
Pretend to look pregnant and they are still not moving!" The presenter then explained: "I am standing there for ages and my feet are killing me! " before suggesting that she might not be offered a seat due to half of her 'big butt' consuming too much space!
