Phil introduced the show by wishing Colonel Tom Moore happy birthday before moving onto the first segment. He said: "We're starting with a classic breakfast booming in popularity - boiled eggs and soldiers. "But how do you make the perfect soft boiled egg?" The presenters then said good morning to John Torode, who was standing in his kitchen.
