This Morning fans go wild as Vernon Kay replaces Phillip Schofield

Vernon Kay has replaced Phillip Schofield as co-host on This Morning on Wednesday 2 February, after he tested positive for covid-19.

The Dancing on Ice presenter announced on Instagram on Monday evening that he caught the virus and would have to self-isolate for the rest of the week.

Yesterday, Alison Hammondstepped in for the 59 year old presenter, but today former I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here star, Vernon Kay, has taken the prime spot on the sofa.

The 47 year old is hosting with Rochelle Humes, 32, who has been filling in for Holly Willoughby for the past few weeks while she is away filming a new series for the BBC.
