Viewers of ITV's This Morning were left less than impressed after a new game called Coin Drop was unveiled on Monday's instalment - replacing the previously free Spin To Win.

Hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard revealed that whilst there are bigger prizes to be won, including a £20,000 top prize, participants will now have to stump up a £2 entry fee.The introduction of this paid-entry feature stirred quite a reaction among fans, who took to social media platform X - formerly known as Twitter - to voice their displeasure, some branding it a 'Tipping Point doppelganger'.Several users posted comments such as: "Cannot believe they replaced the free spin to win with a £2 entry game of bl***y plinko #ThisMorning."Another dismayed viewer chimed in: "£2 to enter P*** off! #thismorning." Whilst a third remarked: "Ooooh a new game...

S****ing Point #thismorning," reports the Mirror.Understandably, people had plenty to say about Coin Drop, which shares similarities with host Ben's other ITV programme, Tipping Point, albeit on a smaller scale.

Those wishing to participate in the game must apply by a specific time, cough up the necessary entry fee and be over 18 years old.Interestingly, viewers seemed in better spirits last week when Ben and Cat hinted on social media that the free-to-enter Spin To Win would be making way for a new game."At last," sighed fans, only to realise they'd have to pay to participate.
