‘This Is Us’ Boss Dan Fogelman Puts the Kibosh on Spinoff Hopes: ‘I Don’t See It’

Now that the ending is near — the sixth and final season kicked off on Tuesday, January 4 — fans can’t help but wonder whether the story is really over.During a new interview, Fogelman, 45, admitted that conversations about a potential spinoff have happened, but nothing has come to fruition.“Once you’ve seen the completion of season 6, the stories of these characters are told,” the Pitch creator told Variety. “So, there is no real spinoff because you kind of know everything.
