Following her hosting gig at the 2025 version of the awards show on Sunday, the comedian turned up on Howard Stern‘s SiriusXM radio show bright and early on Monday morning to talk about the experience.

During the interview, she revealed to Howard that there was a seriously risqué Ben Affleck divorce joke in her opening monologue that actually landed on the cutting room floor before she got a chance to use it! Glaser told Stern how she wanted to reference Affleck’s slow-motion 2024 split from singer Jennifer Lopez with some topical and timely on-stage humor at the Globes.

So, she nearly added this “insane” quip about the Argo actor’s love life into her opening monologue: OMG!! But Glaser thought better of it: Yeah… Of course, the multiple “Jennifer” reference is a nod to both J.Lo, from whom Ben recently split, as well as his other ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
