A gang of thieves were caught on camera stealing over 300 Christmas trees from a outdoor store in South London. Pines and Needles in Wimbledon suffered the break in where over £3,000-worth-of-stock was taken leaving the boss Josh Lyle "sickened".

The incident happened on Friday 27 and the police attended the scene. Mr Lyle believes police will have plenty to go on thanks to Christmas lights which helped illuminate the three men and their van.

He said: "We have been hammered already this year because of Covid. "Now, just as we were given the green light to sell to the public, a bunch of thieves decide to help themselves to more than £3,000-worth of stock.
