Rio Ferdinand has insisted that the Manchester United squad will be desperate for Ruben Amorim to start work and help them after a poor start to the season.

None of them can sit there and say that they have done that. "Bruno [Fernandes] is the only one close but all the others will be sitting there going: 'Please, bring some performances out of myself, help me to become the player everyone thinks I can be, because right now I am not delivering,' that is how the players will be thinking if they are honest.
