There isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for them. They are perfect, and incredible. And I am so grateful we have them. If there was ever a day where they sat me down, say, 10 or 15 years from now and told me they wanted to change their name or share something about their identity, there’s nothing I wouldn’t do to support them.
I hope they always feel safe to tell me how they feel, and I’m always receptive and able to course-correct, if needed.My father, whom I was extremely close to, died in December 2020, and the money he left me helped us pay for the IVF for our twins (a lot is also on our credit cards)—one twin is biologically mine, and one is my wife Erin’s.
