Blossoms’ lead singer Tom Ogden revealed that music legend Rick Astley spent the night at his house in Stockport. The Never Gonna Give You Up was visiting the band and ended up staying in Tom’s spare room.
Earlier this year Rick performed with Blossoms at Glastonbury. Tom shared the story on BBC Breakfast after it was announced Blossoms will play a huge gig at Wythenshawe Park next August bank holiday, dubbed the ‘biggest’ headline show of their career.

And he was like, ‘Where should we stay in Stockport?’, and we’re like, ‘I’m not sure there’s gonna be like… you know, he’s Rick Astley, I don’t know where you want to stay’. “There’s no Ritz in Stockport.
