United's players started to report back to the club's Carrington training complex on Monday morning in preparation for the forthcoming season.
The Reds face Rosenborg in their opening friendly in Norway next Monday. Manager Erik ten Hag, just as he did last year, is expected to assemble a squad made up of youth and experience for the pre-season curtain raiser.
