Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao (born March 3, 1997) is a Cuban-American singer, songwriter, and actress.

She rose to prominence as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, formed on The X Factor (U.S.) in 2012, signing a joint record deal with Syco Music and Epic Records.

While a part of Fifth Harmony, Cabello began to establish herself as a solo artist with the release of the collaborations "I Know What You Did Last Summer" with Shawn Mendes, and "Bad Things" with Machine Gun Kelly, the latter reaching number four on the Billboard Hot 100.

Parijita Bastola became the first Nepalese-American contestant on The Voice on Tuesday and got all four judges to turn around as the Blind Auditions continued.The 17-year-old singer from Severna Park, Maryland, performed the Labrinth song Jealous and eventually chose John Legend, 43, to be her season 22 coach.

Parijita said she was honored to be the first Nepalese-American competing on the show. Before taking the stage, Parijita said that she was inspired to sing a R&B song by her sister who had grown up in India separated from the rest of the family.
