A close pal of The Vivienne has revealed the horrific abuse endured by the drag queen in the days before their tragic passing.

The Vivienne, whose real name was James Lee Williams, was found dead by their heartbroken father and stepmother on Sunday, January 5, with officers attending an address in Chorlton-by-Backford, near Chester, at 12.22 pm that day.It is thought that the Drag Race icon, who was only 32-years-old at their time of death, had died a day or two prior to being discovered.

While the cause of death has not been disclosed, authorities have stated there were "no suspicious circumstances" surrounding the incident.In the lead-up to this heartbreaking event, The Vivienne had been dazzling audiences with their stellar performances on stage.

Notably, they took on the role of The Childcatcher in a national tour of 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' and appeared in a Boxing Day special of 'Blankety Blank', emulating the legendary Lily Savage.Regrettably, following the broadcast of the pre-recorded show, The Vivienne was subjected to vile homophobic attacks online.
