‘The View’ picks new conservative co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin: report

Daily Mail. The Post has reached out to reps for the show for confirmation.The Post previously confirmed that the new host was likely to be Farrah, with set insiders telling us that an announcement would be revealed before the show’s current 25th season ends.

If the news pans out, Farah Griffin — who now roundly condemns Tump — will have beat out several high-profile contenders for the coveted role, including Republican pundit Tara Setmayer, 46, and former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham, 46.

Farah Griffin has been a frequent fill-in on “The View” during its 25th season, after the conservative seat at the ABC gabfest was vacated by Meghan McCain partway through last year.

It’s no secret that producers of the show have been struggling to find a suitable replacement for McCain, whose fiery confrontations with the left-leaning co-host Joy Behar brought ratings and strong social media traction.
