‘The Undervale’ Animated Series Set At Netflix From Creator Matt Roller & EP Dan Harmon
deadline.comNetflix is checking into another animation series. The streamer has ordered The Undervale, an adult animated comedy series from Matt Roller, who has worked on series such as Archer and Rick & Morty, which will be exec produced by a group including Rick & Morty co-creator Dan Harmon.
The series follows a single mother of two, who struggles to run a haunted hotel with the help of her estranged brother, who is now one of the ghosts and thinks the other ghosts have some pretty good ideas.
Roller, who created the series, recently served as co-exec producer on Harmon’s Fox series Krapopolis, and has also worked on series including Mr.
Mayor and The Goldbergs. He will serve as showrunner. He will also exec produce alongside Harmon, Chris McKenna (Spider-Man: No Way Home), and Steve Levy (Rick & Morty).
