Looking back, we had some truly amazing television to watch when we were younger. But as the years go on, it gets harder and harder to remember some of our favourite shows, and will often find others have no idea what we are talking about when we try to describe them.

A recent reddit thread created by u/Silly_Weather8332 captured that idea perfectly when they asked: "What’s an obscure British TV show that only you seem to remember? " The post saw thousands of people reminiscing over old favourites and got us thinking.

Taking inspiration, we created our own post asking our readers – and here are some of our favourite suggestions for forgotten or obscure TV shows of the past.
