A ‘tiny Italian village’ hidden on the edge of Snowdonia has gone viral after being shared on TikTok. Located just outside of the village of Corris in Mid-Wales, it’s not really a village but a series of follies reminiscent of buildings you’d find in Florence or Pisa.

It was shared by TikTok user Wildlifelift, who posts videos of walks in the UK countryside. He described the hike as “perfect for anyone wanting an adventure”, the Express reports.

He advises walkers to park in the village and follow a footpath out of the village, which passes by a house believed to have been the home of the man who built the village.

In the video, which has amassed more than 117,000 likes and 1.5million views, he says: “Did you know hidden away in the Welsh mountains is a tiny Italian village?” He added: “The house on the right to me here actually used to belong to the guy who built this Italian village.
