But you don’t have to travel far from Manchester to enjoy what the Peaks has to offer. Located in the northern end of the Peak District and only 30 minutes drive from Oldham is Wessenden Valley.
Surrounded by rugged moorland, the valley is the ideal setting for an autumnal walk - and hidden in the landscape are some stunning waterfalls.
