In Wednesday's episode (August 21), Lesley and her daughter Nicola brought in a treasured fluffy cat toy named Jess, belonging to Lesley's foster son Colin.The family began providing respite care for Colin in 2012 and he's now 12 years old.
Colin suffers from Pierre Robin sequence, a rare birth defect causing an underdeveloped jaw, breathing difficulties, and inability to speak or chew.
He requires PEG feeding and also has heart issues, reports the Express. Jess, the fluffy cat toy, has been by Colin's side through countless hospital stays and surgeries and is with him every night at bedtime.
