One of the couples from My Mum, Your Dad have already split after the show came to an end last week. Natalie Russell and Paul Edwards coupled up on the new dating series and seemed to really hit it off, but the pair haven’t managed to go the distance.

According to The Sun, a spokesperson for the Channel 4 show said that despite their break up they “remain good friends.” "Natalie and Paul enjoyed a great summer together," they said – as filming finished some months ago. “They have since agreed it was best to part ways but remain good friends and have been overwhelmed by the support from viewers and fans alike." A source also told the publication that though the pair had great chemistry while in the reality TV bubble, their relationship became “too tricky” to balance in the real world. “Natalie and Paul’s flame burned bright for a few months but balancing life on the outside with nurturing their fledgling relationship proved too tricky.

The show, which is hosted by Davina McCall, sees single parents nominated by their grown-up children to go on and try to find love again.

However, it seems that both Natalie and Paul acknowledged that being in the “bubble” was different to being together in ordinary circumstances.
