Rangers boss Philippe Clement insists that Jack Butland can be proud to be in the conversation for an England call up after his latest snub.
The Rangers No. 1 has been snubbed for next month's glamour friendlies against Brazil and Belgium - with Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate opting for Jordan Pickford, Sam Johnstone and Aaron Ramsdale with Euro 2024 just around the corner.
The 31-year-old boasts a better record than the trio that were selected for the double header - keeping 23 clean sheets and conceding just 36 goals so far this season following his free switch to the Scottish Premiership last summer.
And despite seeing his hopes of a spot in the squad for the tournament in the summer put in major doubt, the Belgian boss reckons there is plenty of positives to take for his goalkeeper.
