The One Show fans 'never knew' host Alex Jones' real name - and it's not Alex
ok.co.ukThe One Show's Alex Jones has left fans stunned after revealing her real name.The 47-year-old Welsh TV star, who started her career on S4C, is actually called Charlotte Alexandra Jones.
She uses her middle name Alexandra for work, but outside of the studio, she goes by her married surname Thomson.The revelation came during an Instagram video last year when Alex was packing up her London home to move with her husband Charlie and their three children - Ted, Kit and Annie.
While going through her children's memory boxes, she found a hospital wristband that read 'female infant of Charlotte Alex Jones'.
She said: "That's not actually my name.The hospital got it wrong," before adding: "Charlotte Alexandra Thompson is my actual name." Fans were quick to react, with many admitting they had no idea Alex was her middle name, reports Wales Online.
