An old bank in Stalybridge that has stood empty for years could become a hotspot for nightlife, food and drink. The historic building on Market Street will be transformed into a restaurant, bar, event space and a barbers.
The plans for the town centre spot include a terraced dining area; an underground cocktail bar section; and a private function space.
The ground floor will house a modern restaurant and bar with a focus on locally sourced ingredients and craft beverages. A section of the first floor will also be cordoned off for the terrace and a private dining experience.
Other parts of the first floor will include the barbers shop as well as a ‘versatile event space’ capable of hosting a variety of functions, including private parties, corporate events, and community gatherings.
