‘The Office’: Peacock Followup Series From Greg Daniels & Michael Koman’s Adds 7 Including Mo Welch & Nate Jackson

Peacock‘s The Office follow-up series from creators and executive producers Gregg Daniels and Michael Koman has added 7 to its recurring cast including Duane Shepard Sr. (The Conners), Allan Havey (Loot), Nate Jackson (Young Rock), Mo Welch (Kwaczala), Nancy Lenehan (The Boys), Molly Ephraim (A League of Their Own), and Tracy Letts (Saturday Night Live).

They join the previously announced ensemble cast of Domhnall Gleeson (Ex Machina), Sabrina Impacciatore (The White Lotus), Chelsea Frei (Poker Face), Melvin Gregg (American Vandal), Gbemisola Ikumelo (Black Ops), Alex Edelman (Just For Us), Ramona Young (Never Have I Ever), Tim Key (The Witchfinder) and Eric Rahill (Friendship).

In the new comedy series, the documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch is searching for a new subject when they discover a dying historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it with volunteer reporters.

Deadline exclusively revealed the secret project was in its early stages of development in January with Michael Koman joining Daniels as co-creator in March.
