More than 12,000 properties sold for more than a million pound in the UK in 2020, with one reaching an impressive selling price of more than £44m.
Despite the country entering the first lockdown due to coronavirus last spring, it didn't stop the flat at 1 Mulberry Square in the City of Westminster, selling for £44,278,490 on April 21.
It was closely followed by two other London homes which went for £36m and £35.5m in both March and January respectively. Unsurprisingly all of the top ten properties were in the capital and they all brought in more than £20m for their sellers.
