GMP's traffic division have released dash-cam footage of the incident in Swinton on Tuesday (April 6) at 7.10pm. It shows the biker riding along the pavement on Park Street before coming to a stop behind a parked car.
The police car then rams into the front wheel of the bike, knocking the rider off. He then runs towards the police car, before running in the opposite direction.
The biker made off by hitching a lift on the second bike. But his motorbike was seized by police and will now be crushed. GMP
