The one-mile stretch of Chapel Street as it continues onto The Crescent has seen a slew of development in the last few years, taking it from urban decay to towering symbols of the new Greater Manchester.
Recently, plans have been unveiled for a 26-storey residential tower on nearby Trinity Way. That will follow development around Middlewood Locks, which will be completed by the end of the year.
