The Michael Beale Rangers decision that 'neither goalkeeper is enjoying' as pundit takes aim at rotation

Michael Beale's chopping and changing of goalkeepers isn't helping anyone, according to Richard Foster. The Rangers manager handed Jon McLaughlin a start against Ross County on Saturday after Allan McGregor had the gloves the previous two games.

And it was a nervous showing from the off as the 35-year-old continually struggled to deal with cross balls and command his box, which Foster reckons could prompt Beale into a rotation rethink. He told BBC Sportscene: "Who am I to question Michael Beale and the way he picks his team but I'm pretty sure neither goalie is enjoying at the moment kind of being in and out of the team.

McLaughlin was brought in because he was good at cross balls a few games ago and since then he's had a few instances like that where he misjudges the flight of the ball and he comes out, a player gets in ahead of him and they score a goal. "So that will be something that he will personally need to address and Michael Beale might need to look at as well." And the former Light Blues defender turned pundit was quick to add praise for the way Ross County executed their game plan at Ibrox, with Barisic's winner coming through a stroke of good fortune.Foster added: "Rangers dominated the ball and had more of the game but to lose the game to a goal like that.

We know Barisic has got the quality, we seen the crosses in the game, he's quality from a dead ball but that's so unfortunate.
