Michael Beale has drawn up a list of keeper targets for Rangers - but it might NOT signal the end for Allan McGregor at Ibrox.
The manager revealed he has a budget for a new goalie at the end of the season, with the veteran shot-stopper now 41. McGregor is Beale’s current number one ahead of understudy Jon McLaughlin and Robby McCrorie at Ibrox.
The manager wants to see all of them in action before May, when a new keeper looks certain to arrive at Ibrox. But Beale refused to confirm that McGregor will hang up his boots.
He’s yet to discuss the Rangers legend’s future at the club and says they'll both come to a decision at the end of the campaign.
