The Masked Singer's Pegasus was the second star to be shown the door on the popular ITV show this weekend. Prue Leith was unveiled as the celebrity behind the mask during Sunday's (January 5) episode, which also saw Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway revealed as Spaghetti Bolognese after Saturday night's cliffhanger ending. The panel, featuring Maya Jama, Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall and Jonathan Ross, returned with special guest Vicky McClure, all trying to figure out the identities of the celebs in the extravagant costumes.
Bush, Pufferfish, Pegasus, Wolf, Toad in the Hole and Bear made their series debut, but it was Pegasus and Bush who failed to win over the studio audience, landing them in the bottom two.
After the celebrity detectives saved Bush, Pegasus had no choice but to remove their mask. Before the big reveal, the panel shared their guesses: Mo thought Jane Seymour OBE, David guessed Elizabeth McGovern, Vicky suggested Clare Balding, Jonathan believed it was Prue Leith and Maya proposed Joanna Lumley.
However, it turned out that Jonathan was the judge who was correct, as Prue was the one donning the mythical creature costume.
