'The Masked Singer' 2022 - Three Stars Unmasked & Eliminated in Season Premiere

SPOILER ALERT – Do not read ahead if you have not watched the new episode of The Masked Singer! The Masked Singer is back!

Season eighth season of the hit Fox singing competition series premiered on Wednesday night (September 21) and 22 new masked celebs are ready to take the stage.

This format for this season is very different from the way the competition worked in the past. During the premiere, four contestants – Harp, Hedgehog, Hummingbird, and Knight – took the stage for performances and at the end of the night, three contestants were unmasked and sent home.

In future weeks, only three contestants will perform each episode and two will be unmasked. There will seemingly be seven celebs in the next round. Click through the slideshow to find out who was unmasked…
