So it’s officially Christmas I suppose. As the laws of advertising dictate we must all now get into the spirit as John Lewis have released their annual festive advert.

This year it tells the story of a little boy who grows a giant venus flytrap - a bit like the one in Little Shop of Horrors.

Except this one isn’t a murderous maneater. Although it does give a funny look to a pomeranian. And there’s no sadist dentist involved - so it’s an inferior product in my eyes.
