Ann Budge is steeling herself for a fresh fight as the SPFL battle ground moved from resolutions to reconstruction.The Hearts chief, appointed to head up the revamp taskforce with Hamilton’s Les Gray, has to devise a plan that will win the support of 11 clubs in the top flight along with 75 per cent of lower-league sides.A 14-team top flight, held up by three divisions of 10, is at the forefront of talks which began last night but Budge only wants it to be a temporary measure.However, a number of clubs are seeking permanent change while a 16-team Premiership is also gathering support.That proposal is being pushed on the basis it would add a further three derbies into the mix to please broadcasters – with Inverness, Dundee and Ayr joining
