The Jota Celtic to Ittihad transfer fiasco probed as Saudi Pro League chief reveals fears over 'consequences' for move

The acting CEO of the Saudi Pro League has revealed he contacted Al-Ittihad to express concern after Jota was dropped from their squad.

Former Celtic star Jota has spent the season frozen out of the picture in Jeddah after leaving the Scottish Premiership champions last summer - after he was not selected as one of the eight foreign players allowed for each Pro League squad.
