‘The Irrational’ Season 2 Premiere Pushed Back A Week Due To Vice Presidential Debate

NBC has pushed the season 2 premiere of The Irrational to Tuesday, October 8 from its original October 1 date due to the recently scheduled vice presidential debate between Governor Tim Walz (D-MN) and Sen.

J.D. Vance (R-OH), hosted by CBS News. The Season 2 premiere of the crime procedural will air at 10 p.m. on October 8, preceded by a two-hour edition of The Voice beginning at 8 p.m.

Written by Arika Lisanne Mittman, The Irrational, starring Jesse L. Martin, is based on Dan Ariely’s bestselling novel Predictably Irrational.

It follows world-renowned professor of behavioral science Alec Mercer (Martin) as he lends his unique expertise to high-stakes cases and mysteries.
